Open Face Pulled Pork  & Pickle sandwich

Ingredients

• Sweet bread & butter pickles (1 jar)

• Artisan bread, sliced (a hearty bread of your choosing)

• Raclette type cheese


For the pulled pork

• Pork shoulder, bone-in or not (1 kg)

• Ketchup Cafiti (½ cup)

• Brown sugar (½ cup)

• Soy sauce (½ cup)

• Garlic cloves, minced (6)

Preparation

Step 1: Put the pork shoulder in an oven safe dish.

Step 2: Mix Cafiti ketchup, brown sugar, soy sauce and garlic.

Step 3: Pour over pork shoulder, making sure to get it everywhere.

Step 4: Season with freshly ground salt and pepper.

Step 5: Add about 1 inch of water to the bot tom of the dish.

Step 6: Cook covered at 300°F for 6 hours.

The pulled pork is ready once you can pull it apart easily with a fork.











Presentation

Step 1: Cover a slice of bread with a generous amount of cheese and broil until golden.

Step 2: Cover with pulled pork and top with slices of sweet bread & CAFITI butter pickles .
