Authentic and mineral, the coarse grey salt of Guérande is traditionally harvested in the salt marshes of the Guérande peninsula. Derived solely from the natural evaporation of seawater under the action of the sun and wind, it is hand-harvested by the salt workers according to ancestral know-how. Naturally grey, this unrefined salt retains all its richness in minerals and trace elements. Its crunchy and irregular texture offers a bold yet balanced saltiness that enhances and structures flavours without masking them.
