Description

Inspired by an old Flemish recipe, the Bastogne® cookie from LU Associates the crunch with a cookie rich in wheat with subtle flavors of Candi sugar and cinnamon, so characteristic of speculoos. The name Bastogne comes from the Walloon name for the Belgian town of Bastogne, located at the foot of the Ardennes. This relatively hard cookie with a rocky structure reminded Parein of the rough hills of the Ardennes.
